Pete and Leslee Euler, State Farm

As we live local and give local this year, we'll be highlighting the small businesses that support the United Way campaign.  Take a moment to learn more about Pete and Leslee Euler and their commitment to our community in our first Small Business Spotlight.

Tell us about your business; what is your business philosophy?

Insurance agency.  I take pride in the fact that I have been given the opportunity to work in the community.  I feel like the work that I do is beneficial to the community.  I want the community to prosper.  Sharing what I’ve been able to earn helps with that.             

Why are you passionate about your commitment to the United Way and to our community?

United Way does the work to make sure the agencies are doing what they say they will do.  I get the benefit of making a solid investment in the community.  And it cuts down time spent with individual solicitations. 


What advice would you give to someone wanting to get involved in the community?

United Way has proven its ability to make a difference in the community.  Peer recognition of doing a good thing.  People want to see business reinvestment.

What is something interesting or surprising that most people don’t know about you?

Small town farm kid.  Started education in a one room school.  Majority of what I know I’ve learned from life experiences.
