Our Campaign Chair
Dr. Mike Argabright, Superintendent of USD 252 Schools
As summer in the Flint Hills begins to wind down, it often becomes a time to reflect on community events and experiences we’ve participated in over the past several months. This year, with the return of many missed events due to the pandemic, you most likely find yourself feeling extra pride in our community and the collaborative efforts many have made to have a safe return to normal. As we continue to pool our resources together, I am humbled to join the United Way of the Flint Hills as this year’s Campaign Drive Chair.
The United Way of the Flint Hills has been instrumental in addressing the local needs of our community members and this year’s efforts are no different. As we continue to navigate our post pandemic efforts, the need to look out for our neighbors creates opportunities for all of us to improve our quality of life. It is our time to continue to build upon the local impact already created by past efforts. The United Way strives to create heathy, active communities by providing numerous services to those that are facing challenging circumstances. By responding to our communities’ needs, the United Way strives towards improving the quality of life and care in the Flint Hills.
The campaign slogan for this year is “United We Thrive”. As we return to a new normal, our energy must include uniting our neighbors, as the needs are unparalleled. How we respond in the call to serve each other will determine the course for those who benefit from these programs and services in our communities for years to come. Quality of life for all is parallel with economic progress. I encourage you to support this year’s United Way Campaign. Your support will help the United Way continue their long tradition of positive community impact and prideful community outcomes.
Please consider joining the campaign! Together and United, we can have a successful campaign!
Thank you for supporting the United Way of the Flint Hills!
